All In Focus (2022)

I acquired 4yo gelding All In Focus at the Goffs Punchestown Sale after he made a very favourable impression staying on very well given he wasn’t best positioned on debut at Dromahane in April when trained by Mick Goff.  The contest was over 7 minutes so he certainly stays and was the fastest race on the card where horses made up to £435k in the following weeks!  Also to clock a slower time that day was Irish Champion Hunter Chaser Wonderwall.  The horse he crossed the line with together made double the amount at the same auction.

He has had a lovely summer break here at Webb Hill Farm and is back in work.

P2P.ie said the following:

In a race that saw all eight contestants being newcomers, the well-supported Chanson Du Jury led from three out with Finian Maguire with the Goffs Arkle sale graduate holding on grimly on the flat to beat the closing All In Focus by a head in what was the closest finish of the afternoon.

All In Focus is an embryonic chasing type by Telescope that was acquired for E16, 500 as a foal at the 2022 Tattersalls Ireland November sale and the British-bred, whose listed-placed hurdling dam Lady Of Lamanver is a half-sister to Grade 2 places chaser Lamanver Pippin, was always positioned to the pace. He came to the challenge the winner on the flat, but he just could not move past him as the line approached. He certainly lost nothing in defeat, and this bay, who also traces back to Tonoco and Nodform, should easily attain consolation over the coming weeks before embarking on a victorious track career next season, whilst fences should also bring about further improvement in him.
