Buck N A Quarter (Ire) 2022
Buck N A Quarter is a Derby Sale graduate who went into training for an Irish point with Jimmy Kelly. We know from his pre-race homework that his fourth place debut underplays his true ability and we look forward to getting him out again this Autumn. Jimmys horses were clearly out of form last Spring so we expect improvement when properly fit and firing.
P2P.ie said the following:
Buck N A Quarter was well-fancied beforehand, and this son of Way To Paris moved through to go second from four out and, having challenged three out, he was outjumped in the air by the winner at the second-last. He then could not raise his effort towards the top of the climb after this penultimate obstacle, and he dropped fourth before the last. This was still a most encouraging start to his career, and the bay should automatically fare better when next seen.
