Lucky Bere – SOLD
Lucky Bere (pictured mid August) is a 3yo who I bought in April after winning twice in Soft and Heavy ground over 12f at Compiegne. He was having the tenth run of his career and sixth since the turn of the year! He is clearly sound and loves his racing given the improvement he showed up to a mark of 76.
All this plus having two sibling jump winners and standing at 16:1&1/2 plus being a son of Seahenge (who I have already had some success with over jumps with Spiced Rum), made him a standout to go juvenile hurdling.
We had him gelded and turned him out for a nice break where he has thrived. Now back in, he has started jumping in the school only in the last few days under Lee Stephens and has took to it with ease, making a nice shape and seeming to enjoy it (see schooling footage in link below).
At Tattersalls HIT Sale in October, given his size, scope and rating, could easily make £80-100k given the lack of animal like him coming to market these days.
Last season a very similar horse was sold at Tatts called Night Moon >>>> he was rated 74 and made £100k.
