Tiptoptim (Ire) 2020

This is Tiptoptim, a runaway 4yo Irish point winner at Necarne for Donnchadh Doyle on 4th May who I bought on spec at Cheltenham Sales.

Irish point Website said the following:  ‘Tiptoptim (IRE) was a €28,000 foal buy, and this son of Mount Nelson tracked the leaders throughout. When asked for his effort at the back of three-out he showed a smart turn of foot and stayed on stoutly from the back of the penultimate obstacle to win as he liked. A particularly eye-filling sort that physically exudes chaser, he is out of a half-sister to successful dual-purpose and Grade 1 winning hurdler Grumeti, so in all probability he should go on to develop into a smart racecourse performer.’

You will see from the replay how he quickly scoots away from the field and despite stumbling continues to draw further clear becoming the only horse in shot to win impresssively.
